Health & Wellness Check

To help maintain optimal health for your pet, routine clinical exams alongside preventative health care are vital. Clinical exams are scheduled twice yearly for healthy pets and carried out in the home environment where your pet feels safe.

During a health consultation, our mobile vet will carry out a full physical exam for your pet, checking your pet from nose to tail, including:

​30 minute mobile vet appointment
We ensure our vets are not rushed and take their time to fully examine your pet and assess its health.
Our mobile vet can also discuss any questions you may have about your pets’ general health and wellbeing including: 

• Dental health 

• Behaviour 

• Diet and nutrition

• Vaccinations

• Parasite prevention including flea and worming 

 
Full physical examination

• Heart and lungs check

Listening to the chest with a stethoscope allows the vet to check for heart murmurs, cardiac arrhythmias, and other heart and lung abnormalities.

• Dental & mouth health review

​Thorough check of your pets' mouth and teeth to check for signs of dental disease and other concerns

• Skin and coat  

Checking for lumps, bumps, and overall coat health 

• Ears and eyes 

• Abdominal palpation, feeling your pets’ tummy to check their internal organs are the right size and shape

Referrals and providing histories where needed
In cases where your pet needs further investigation through scans such as X-rays or surgery, our mobile vet can refer your pet onto one of our partner clinics . We will provide a seamless transition and do all the paperwork for you to ensure the correct history is provided to the referring clinic under your direction.
